The V&A has announced its hopes to bring McQueen from the Met right back to our own little metropolis...London. "Alexander McQueen appreciates the huge amount of interest the public has shown towards the Savage Beauty exhibition," read a statement issued by the design house. "We have been in discussion with a number of major venues in London for some time now, however nothing has been finalised."
The exhibition enthralled the vast 661,509 people, the most the Met has ever brought in for an exhibition and I believe London would not disappoint. There are clearly many options in London for the exhibition but the V&A is the classic and most appropriate choice to house 'to be one of the most discussed exhibitions' of the 21st century.
